A friend posted this today of the first time The Strokes played Coachella in 2002. They were just starting to blow up and came to Hollywood from NY and I took them under my wing like an older brother showing them around town. Seen here with them backstage before they went on in the daytime opening slot after that they never opened again. Slash , Duff & I were just getting Velvet Revolver going. The 3 of us are in the Someday video as well.
