Introducing our food creators for our upcoming mahjong x nightmarket event!

tickets via link in bio

with this event we want to build a space for making new connections while giving artists and creators a platform to share their passion

chew - mochi donuts
schenkel. - fried chicken sandwiches
SALT BAO - salt breads

Hi I‘m Jenny - the person behind „chew“ 🙋🏻‍♀️
While Düsseldorf is known for its Japanese (food) culture, I always wondered why mochi donuts were nowhere to be found.
So one day I decided to just make them myself 👩🏻‍🔬
What started out as a random experiment has now become my side quest 😆
After sharing them with some friends, I‘m excited to have more people try them 🍡🍩
Looking forward to see you at the event!

What's up I'm Minh!

schenkel. is my vehicle to express and share my passion beyond my home kitchen. I'm looking forward to meet you guys, have you taste my fried chicken sandwiches and enjoy part of my culinary journey sandwiched between two buns 🍗🍔 (I dare you to try extra spicy 🥵🔥)

Hello 🙋🏻‍♀️I’m Yeeny,
I’ve always loved cooking, baking, and discovering new foods so when I came across salt bread during my trip to Seoul in 2022, I instantly fell in love.

I still remember that very first bite: crispy on the outside, buttery and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of saltiness. It was simple, yet somehow unforgettable.✨️

Years later, I discovered that salt bread had become a viral pastry phenomenon and it brought me right back to that first bite in Seoul.

So I decided to recreate that memory in my own kitchen, experimenting with different doughs, textures, fillings, and flavours until I found my own version of the salt bread I remembered.
And now, I’m excited to finally share it with you🤗
