If they want to be better, faster, stronger, athletes know they’ll never stop practicing and learning new skills... The same is true for nutrition.

How the body physiologically responds to macronutrients changes as kids grow.

Gender, weight, each day’s activity level also play a role in determining nutritional needs.

Adding MORE protein isn’t the solution to “bigger, faster, stronger” - especially if they don’t know how much they need in the first place.

I love working with young athletes like these #tonguesouttraining camp kids to create healthier habits- and I’m always amazed at how eager they are to learn!

It’s never too late (or too early) to #fueltheirgame

What makes a good camp a great one? Nutrition training!

Had a blast watching these young skaters build their skills on the ice, and then helping them build nutrition skills in the kitchen. 🏒🥅🚨 It's amazing to see young athletes eager to ask & answer questions about what to eat to improve their game and create healthy habits early.

Can't wait to talk to the older skaters tomorrow! .
