Eternal life starts today.

We’re back with an Everyday Short and this one is focused on the Gospel. Throughout the episode, Chiamaka explores why we really needed a Savior and why Jesus’ death and resurrection matters soo much. For example, His sacrifice gave us the ability to know God.

Happy Monday family! In our last episode, we asked Kimmy what advice she would give to her younger self as a founder. She dropped some gems and we thought this was a great word for the beginning of the week. As believers and entrepreneurs, we should be bold in our circles of influence. We have a new life in Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit as our guide and Abba backing us! We are empowered!

Today was cultural Sunday at my church — what an opportune time to celebrate culture during Black History Month. Living in an euro centric world, it's very easy to imbibe the messages we're fed from birth that whiteness is the ideal. False. Today we got a healthy dose of Psalm 139: I am fearfully and wonderfully made...and this my soul knows very well. God created all sorts of skintones and features with His intelligent design and we should celebrate them all. Here are some shots from my church which is predominately Nigerian. These shots feature more universal pieces like the ornate bubas me and several others are wearing to more regional specific attire among the Igbos, Yorubas, and Edo people. We also have a sprinkle from Rwanda and our number 1 frenemy and fav black stars, Ghana.
