We recently with @colordeanchic and @chickooaround spent some time in the Himalayas, and it stayed with us. There’s something very special about this place — the atmosphere, the people, the feeling of being somewhere completely different.
We met amazing people, had beautiful moments, and made a film we really want to share with you. Thanks to @rinku_rudra @live_north @siddharthbajpai

Sunil Sampat conducted an amazing Listening Session today at the NCPA, on The Fabulous Jazz Ensembles. It was made even more special as our daughter Payal is visiting from San Francisco, so was able to attend. So wonderful seeing all the regular listeners of these sessions, as well as some friends! It really was a very enjoyable evening of music as we got to see some very rare jazz videos especially curated by Sunil!

Another gratitude post, there are going to be a few more of these :)

I first went to a Sofar gig years and years ago when being a musician wasn't even a remote possibility but I remember being awe struck by the artists and the intimate ambience.

There was no musician back then but there was always the music within me

Cut to many many years later, I got to live out a dream that I didn't even know I was dreaming thanks to @chickooaround suggesting my name and @sofarbombay and @ankitdayal considering it and giving it, and me, a shot

Still reeling from the incredible Sunday that went by especially due to soul stirring performances by @adyindia and @zidaansmusic_official

Ufffff
What an evening

Such an exhilarating Jazz listening session today at the NCPA, held by Sunil Sampat. It was so wonderful listening to Sunil talk about Jazz trios, and to also listen to some audios and videos especially compiled by him. He regaled us with some interesting stories about his meeting some Jazz greats, and he also attended their live performances. How fortunate that he was there at the release of John Coltrane's album, A Love Supreme!!
