Henshin! ✨️

I purposely combined these 3 prompts, Falloween Day 14: Creatures of the Night + Mobtober Day 20: Fog + Drawlloween Day 30: Moth because this inspired me to draw the moth man as anticipated! 🖤🌙

Prompt list by @chiioko @mandymaeart and @Lauheeit.art

I have seen illustrations of mothman before, but I first properly learned about the urban legend surrounding these cryptid when I was watching an episode of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix 2 years ago. It actually gave me a shock that people in West Virginia potentially claimed to have come across these mysterious humanoid creatures in real life, which sends shivers down my spine. Their encounters were rather eerie.

I have always wanted to draw a mothman myself. At first, I wanted to draw him clinging to a powerline pole for this illustration, but then I decided to have him pull off Kamen Rider's signature pose as a sight gag due to their striking resemblance. The other day, I was having a conversation about Kamen Rider with some friends, and they agreed when I brought up Kamen Rider's resemblance to mothman.
