Thanks, Darcy. I might not get to see your face in person very often anymore but now I get to wear it.

Excited to be exploring sounds as ga and dang (Danielle Jakubiak) at @bleepinthedark. The last time we performed as a duo was Everyseeker 2025 and it is wonderful to be collaborating again because she is one of my best pals. Also so happy to be performing alongside Shitcook and Hermit.

Alright September; I see you, you little hurricane of activity youuuu 🌪️

Fortunate to have attended film festivals x 2 in Halifax and Inverness for meaningful conversations with creative people on all levels of the crew, amazing weird films, and lots of talk of community - hard work - and how long it can takes to see that hard work come to fruition / plus how many pivots happen along the way to get there. Never a straight path.

Followed by a week in Margaree supporting artists surrender to their own art-making processes, in nature - with nature, each other, the wind - the apples - the cows - the breeze and perhaps (most definitely) the sun and moon 🌝

PSA; real life hard stuff not pictured on the gram : and closer than it appears 👻 hello october u spooky btch

September Equinox 2026 with Melissa Pons on @earthfm_live podcast The Wind is The Original Radio!

The Earth's orbit around the sound finds itself at the point where we, from our planet, measure the sun's relative location exactly above the Equator's, making its way South. This marks the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the vernal equinox and the beginning of spring in the Southern Hemisphere.

The mix presented today, by our curator Melissa Pons, is an invitation to celebrate - or rather to contemplate, to attune the ears and let the body-mind wander freely.

Thanks to our artists, we'll listen to Earth's soundscapes from Aotearoa New Zealand to Canada.

They have all been recorded within 7 days of the September Equinox and in this piece, they have been sculpted and twined into a cinematic dreamy travel with ambient electronic music, in some impossible place between the Earth and the Moon.

Listen to the full mix on https://earth.fm/podcast/ (link in bio!)
