Huge thank you to @antigravitybatteries for having us in their booth at the @typesauto Night Lights meet yesterday! I was supposed to take my car, but since I broke the transmission we had to bring the backup 😂 It was such an honor to showcase the lightweight battery in a purpose-built drag car and talk about everything that goes into a big power build with all the people who stopped by to check it out.

I’m starting to think my @staccato2011 P is attracted to white things because WHY THE FUCK does it keep clipping No Shoots?! That’s probably how I was able to mow down my very first Texas Star without much difficulty – because the plates are painted white. 😩

Hopefully my @darkforgefirearms Reaper and @atlasgunworks Erebus are allergic to No Shoots because these penalties are killing my Hit Factor. 🥹

Raceworz recap 🏁
This was my first event since TX2K, and with the new build still being so fresh, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the car. I went into Q1 with a soft launch and tighter traction control since I was unfamiliar with the track (and ngl I’m still kinda scared of the new power). Still ran an 8.0 @ 190mph 😳

When I got back to the pit, I saw oil leaking from the front bumper on the drivers side. I initially thought my catch can had overflowed, so I cleaned it up and pumped some oil from the tank. I missed Q2 while working on the car, so I went straight into eliminations the next day.

My competitor didn’t show up for E1, so I decided to save the car and just cruise down the track to secure the win. Back at the pit, I noticed the oil leak had returned and found that it was actually coming from a crack in the oil cooler. Without a replacement cooler or the parts to bypass it on hand, I had to drop out of the competition.

Despite the outcome, I still had a great time racing alongside the GTR crew @weshawk1 @coryallen18 @bigpowergtr @jp.cummins @dv8ed_garage @blaczla24 @dustysmith888r. Wes even took home the win!

Shoutout to @chrisvr35 who couldn’t make it, but was still on standby for tech support the whole time. And of course thank you to my crew @chinkychoy and @lismarcab 🫶🏽

Drag racing with the beautiful rolling hills of Sonoma wine country as the backdrop was such a vibe. Thank you @raceworz for putting on a great event! See you at the next one.

In honor of EDC week 🌼🦉💫
