Supergirl (The Flash 2023) from @chipchipcustom TF Supergirl $40AUD (~28USD) 1x complete pad printed figure with replica cape and custom hair piece Flash movie bundle $155AUD (~108USD) 4x complete pad printed figures (Speed Force bundle + TF Supergirl + TF Batman) Send me a message if you’d like to purchase! Sasha Calle was a pretty great Supergirl and the real highlight of The Flash. It’s a shame she didn’t get to return. Just like Chips Flash figure, this one is also based on the cancelled Supergirl from the same set but with the additions of arm and leg print and a FAR BETTER custom hair piece. The hair piece is a custom steel mould that I think is one of Chip’s best. It perfectly captures her look and is a much better choice than the original curtain bangs bowl cut from the official design. The only parts remaining from the that figure is the face and torso. The toothy smile really doesn’t suit the character but I understand why is was still included as the goal was to replicate the official prints. The torso has the same Henry Cavil S symbol and a lot of detailed lining and dotted texture across highlights of the suit that is all very necessarily carried over to the arms and legs making her look very complete. Bullseye / Ben Poindexter (Born Again S2) A Custom Minifigure by @chipchipcustom 2D Design / Accuracy - 4/5 - Great This custom figure is based on Bullseye as he appears in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and if LEGO felt like making a pretty irresistible set or two, this is what I’d expect a great-looking Bullseye minifig to look like. Equipped with a holster across his chest, plenty of sheaths for knives along his belt and bicep, it’s only fitting that this figure would come loaded with the printed accessories to carry weapons but without any actual weapons in them. This is precisely what LEGO does for their own sheaths and holsters. I think that the designs look pretty good across the chest and legs, though it’s a bit unfortunate that the sheath prints are interrupted by the gap between the torso and hip piece. I love the print on the left hand arm, but there’s nothing on the sides of the legs to continue from the front. I’m pretty much fine with the right hand arm being unprinted, but something on the side of at least the right hand leg would have been great. All around though, this is an easily recognizable and well-designed figure that’ll embody the character nicely on display. Print Quality / Coverage - 3.5/5 - Very Good This figure is pad printed on one side of the dark blue head piece, both sides of the light nougat head piece, each side of the torso, the left hand arm, the front of the hip piece, and the front of each leg. The opacity is great, the alignment is terrific, and the colors are vivid, but one more print on the right hand leg would have been great, and the slight separation between the torso and hip piece prints is a bit unfortunate. This is every bit as good as (if not better than) LEGO’s own pad printing, and the coverage is pretty good overall.
