A good friend from my old church, Donna Schafte Brandon heard that I had a knee replacement surgery and she went out of her way to ask other friends to prepare a meal to help my son and I. My friend, Isabella Oliveira Andrade White reached out immediately. I was shocked that she prepared and dropped off a whole week’s worth of food. Isabella is the process of opening her own restaurant and the food is delicious, healthy and fresh. This is one of the most intense and painful surgeries I’ve ever had to go through. I am extremely grateful for the love, kindness and generosity from the people of God. If you live in the Portland/ Vancouver area, please order a meal from Isabella and support a local small business at The Wisdom of Angolan Cuisine. May God bless you. https://www.facebook.com/share/197zgh3HDf/

#difarapizza #difara The Street was named after Dom Demarco, the man who made the best pizza in New York City. I was asked by Bruce to give a speech to help commemorate this glorious occasion. Other speakers were Scott Weiner, Mark Iacono, owner of Lucali Pizza and Marty Markowitz, former Brooklyn Borough President.
