THE JOY OF SUMMER 🍋

Join Chloe Baio & Janet Gooding July 3-8, 2027 for a week of sparking joy in Tuscany 🐚

This retreat embodies all things la dolce vita! We’ll spend our days immersed in meaningful movement, nature, Italian culture, great company and of course, aperol spritz… We couldn’t think of a better recipe for joy!

We’ll be staying at the most chic, restored 13th-century villa overlooking the rolling Tuscan Hills. Run by the sweetest family who has been running retreats for decades and you will embrace Italy’s oldest traditions. Think pasta making, wandering through medieval towns, wine tasting, and an afternoon gelato when you’re not lounging by the pool 🌞

You’ll be going on retreat with Chloe & Janet, both leos (iykyk) which means you are going to have the time of your life! The peak of summer in Italy, guiding side by side, is their dream retreat. These two are dedicated teachers, forever students, and truly embody what it means to have a practice rooted in joy.

Apāna Vāyu is the downward breath, the exhale. The settling and the release that we need. Nothing I’ve ever done has helped me feel that feeling more than moving. A few moments to notice the exhalation can completely transform our days and our moods, and doing this through movement helps us connect a little deeper.

The online platform is the place where you can always create the space to practise. Maybe amongst the anarchy, but you’ll be able to make it. It’s not a space of needing perfection, solitude or even total serenity, it’s a space that allows you to show up as the tenant of your body and mind.

If you need to find connection, fix your spine, strengthen your glutes, be expansive or be still, it all lives here. There isn’t an expectation of who you need to be in this space, you can be all the things all at once.

Balance 🌀 a day of learning, resetting and getting inspired.

Hair education, good people, a beautiful space + morning yoga - exactly what I needed.

Thank you @phoebelouisehair @byroseolivia for hosting such an inspiring day - forever grateful to be in an industry where there’s always more to learn 💛🌸

Turns out, I needed a little balance too… 🤍

A day away from my own chair, learning, watching, listening and just taking it all in.

The theme of the day was balance — something I think most of us could probably do with a little more of.

The day started with a yoga session with @chloebaio @thespace.bath a very mind opening, empowering session.

Then we relocated to the most inspiring salon @orla.hair, such a beautiful space, thank you for creating a homely, creative vibe.

And a huge thank you to @byroseolivia and @phoebelouisehair you guys are great educators and so lovely to learn from, your work is incredible.

@thebarberpriest thank you for your calmness and bringing us back to the room, and reminding us to breathe.

I came away feeling inspired, grateful and slow down occasionally, keep learning… but most importantly, to just be you.

23 years into this career and I still absolutely love going on courses 🤍

Thank you for a beautiful, inspiring day in Bath 🤍

Now back to my own chair with a very full cup 🥰

Yesterday I attended an incredible workshop!

We started the day with a stunning yoga class @thespace.bath delivered by @chloebaio

Then we got stuck into learning and perfecting our craft with the insanely talented @phoebelouisehair and @byroseolivia and got talking all things wellness with @whoisjakeputan

A hill I will DIE on is to always invest in taking part in education, no matter your industry. It will inspire you and put a fire in your belly like nothing else!
