This one has been a long time coming🥉

@chock33_ goes from 8th to 3rd over the final 200m and wills himself to his first International Medal for Ghana at the African Championships in front of the home crowd in Accra 🇬🇭

I was so excited to see Alex place 3rd . Even though he missed out on the gold, this bronze medal means a lot to the country 🇬🇭. I understand how difficult it is when you get blocked or boxed in during a race, and coming from behind in those final meters was not easy at all.

But the support from Ghanaians and the energy from the home crowd pushed him through that last 100m 😆. I’m so proud of you, Alex, and also proud of the rest of the Ghanaian athletes. Congratulations to everyone 👏🇬🇭

We are not done yet, we will keep coming back again and again to support our own ❤️🔥
