Our Favourite shots from our Armenian chapter.

For this chapter, we wanted every frame to feel unmistakably Armenian.

Mount Ararat. Khachkar carving. Lavash made by hand. Armenian ballet. Ancient textiles, traditional movement and symbols that have carried meaning for generations.

Christianity is deeply woven into Armenian identity, from its ancient churches and monasteries to the stone crosses carved into khachkars. Armenia was the first nation to adopt Christianity as a state religion, and that history is still visible everywhere.

We went deep into the details for this film, including UNESCO-recognized traditions, centuries-old crafts and cultural references that only make sense because of where we were. Nothing was chosen by accident.

Thank you to everyone who opened their doors, shared their history, their craft and their culture with us.

DAY ONE | ARMENIA 🇦🇲
We began our journey at Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the world’s oldest cathedral, learning about faith and its place at the heart of Armenian culture.
