So last Saturday I went to this local yearly thing near me called Fil-Am Creator Con which was kind of like an Artist’s Alley from a anime convention/comic con but smaller. Here’s all the cool stuff I got from it as well as a pic of a musician I’m a pretty big fan of known as AJ Rafael who also played Brian in the Marvel show Wonder Man. Big thanks to the people here that made the cool stuff! #filamcreatorcon #filamcreatorcon2026

🇵🇭9.19.26 FilAm CreatorCon! @filamcreatorcon

❤️ Mom and I participated for the first time. What struck me was how tight and supportive the FilAm community is down in the San Diego County area. Multiple times, I overheard someone say, “Oh I went to high school with them over there! My cousin knows so and so! She and I go way back! Etc.” it felt like real community, and the organizers and out neighbors made Mom and me feel welcome in it.

Here are the prints I brought home from the con and the artists who made them!
• Hello Kitty Ninja Turtle | @phenom_clothing_2021
• Boiled Peanuts | @chrismaze
• Magneto | @carreon_andy
• Stan Lee | @pat5ierra

Artists face a lot of hurdles these days. Many times artists are under valued for their work, people steal it using AI, artists get replaced by AI, and high vendor fees at shows that are cash grabs with low turnouts. It’s rough.

Call me naive but I’ll still keep fighting to make art as long as I can.

Whenever I hear Carl say this, I let it resonate in my head and go yep, I am not breaking. I am gonna keep making good shit, and love every minute I pour into my craft. So to all of you artists either veterans or new to the art game remember…

“THEY WILL NOT BREAK YOU!” 👊🏽

🇵🇭 Our 2026 Fil Am Creator Con Pick Ups.

Make sure to follow, support, and show some love to these amazing Filipino creatives! 🇵🇭❤️

Let’s continue uplifting our community and celebrating the talent, passion, and creativity within it. 🙌🏽🔥

#FilAm #FilAmCreatorCon #FilipinoCreatives

Picked up this dope book from @bigaypuso.ph for my niece for Christmas! 📚🎄

Really appreciate the signed copy, it makes it that much more special. Can’t wait to have this up in our studio! 🙌🏽

Also, appreciate the dope bag with it! 🔥

Finally got to meet @watermoonstudios in person! 🙌🏽

Huge thank you for this awesome signed Iron Man Barrel Man for the studio. ❤️💛 Our love for Marvel, paired with supporting fellow Filipino creatives, makes this one extra special.

Couldn’t ask for a better addition to the studio! 🇵🇭🦸🏽‍♂️

We’ve met @dioncelebrado in real life before, but always good to connect again! 🙌🏽

I definitely need to come back for that vinyl figure in the near future. Appreciate the stickers too, they’re going straight onto our locker in the studio! 🔥🇵🇭

Dope to finally meet @pettproject in person! 🙌🏽

Our studio is already filled with so much of your amazing artwork, so it’s awesome to add these stickers to our locker collection. Appreciate you and the creativity you bring to the community! 🎨🔥🇵🇭

Finally got to pick up some artwork from @patrickballesteros! 🎨🔥

Just missed you at your booth, but hopefully we’ll get a chance to meet in person sometime soon. Appreciate the art and can’t wait to add it to the studio! 🙌🏽

Really appreciate these pieces from @chrismaze. Also, enjoyed our convo and wishing you much healing on your journey. 🙏🏽🇵🇭❤️

They instantly brought me back to my childhood and those memories of visiting the motherland. Both pieces remind me of my parents’ upbringing and the stories, culture, and experiences that shaped our family.

Glad I can give them a home on the wall in our studio. 🙌🏽

It was great meeting @hot.tropiks and getting to chop it up about your journey from Manila to Creator Con! 🇵🇭🔥

This bag immediately caught our eye, especially since we’re at Trader Joe’s all the time. 😂 Had to pick it up! Can’t

What a way to cap off a 10-day work “week”! I got to enjoy my birthday at @filamcreatorcon, see all my creative friends and community, announce mine and @patrickballesteros’ first big project (more on that later), and shared the panel stage with @whilceportacio! That’s just SOME of the fun. To all my friends and family that support me by just being around, you’re the energy that keeps me going. I love/appreciate you so much.

(Not pictured but a big part of the day, thanks to @monibon for holding down the table while I was away! And thanks to @fliptreej for some of the pics!)

The switch to getting original art instead of prints has been so awesome so far. Never posted my SDCC 2026 haul but I just picked up the amazing Dragon Dance from @chrismaze so I wanted to post the OBA Femi & Resident Evil pieces from his 3” x 3” collection I got from him, as well! Crazy detail packed in a small frame.
