I made this infinitely-looping-video art piece awhile back. I was inspired after watching Chantal Akerman’s short film “La Chambre / The Room” (go check it out, if you haven’t seen it, it’s one of her early works and I find it enthralling!). I wanted to make something of my own, in one hotel room, all at once. That sorta happened...

This is where it happened. Right here. In this room.

had an amazing time doing the Spartan Poconos Super 10k. Found out what “the hill” was…. Going up and down the mountain TWICE. Brutal. And I loved it.

Had to fly back home this morning after a very quick ATX trip. Started running and there was no rain… 10 minutes later an absolute downpour… and 30 mins later an almost empty perfect swim at Barton Springs.
what a morning.
Thanks ATX. But time to get back home. ✈️

6 years ago I made the very best decision I could ever make and I married this one of a kind, brilliant, beautiful, ambitious, amazing woman.

She's everything. I love you, my Gabs. With all my heart. ❤️
Happy 6th Anniversary.
