📖 FIELD GUIDE RECOVERED. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Griffins. Owl-bears. Shikanara. Dragons. Shadowhünds. Barkfoxes. Boonts… and a few creatures that may be considerably happier if you simply admire them from a distance. 👀

Welcome to the Book of Beasts: An Eco-Fantasy Field Guide 🌿🐉

A group of indie authors came together to document some of the beasts, creatures, familiars, and curious inhabitants hiding within our worlds—and we’ve collected our findings here for your next expedition.

Some wield magic. Some protect their ecosystems. Some guide humans. Some would happily accompany you home.
And some are enormous antlered bears who live underground and take eating very seriously. 😂

Your expedition allows you ONE encounter. Which creature are you tracking down first?

Tell us in the comments—and then go explore the authors behind the creatures that caught your eye. 🌱✨

📚 Featuring creatures from:
Crystals of Ulstra
Owl’s Well That Bears Well
Of Green & Gold
Zada
The Last of the Light
Sunderroot
All the Scattered Stars
An Inspection so Sweet

🌿 Save this field guide for your next fantasy expedition, and share it with a reader who would absolutely wander off the trail to investigate a magical creature.

🌌 **Friend-tember continues** 🐉

Today's indie-author spotlight is on **Christa Mandler** and *Zada*!

Written by an environmental scientist, this is a world of science-based worldbuilding and ecologically grounded dragons. And if that combination doesn't make you curious, I don't know what will. 👀

I love getting to share the incredible worlds my author friends are creating. Go give Christa some love, check out *Zada*, and tell me—are you a dragon reader? 🐉💙
