📣 A HUGE shoutout to University of Oklahoma Chi Omega for donating 75 mattresses to children and families in need! 🛏️💛

We’re so grateful for the incredible teamwork that made this possible — thank you Judy Sherrin and New Hope Baptist Church’s bunk bed ministry, along with Misty Seale and Christ Church - Norman, for stepping up and mobilizing volunteers to pick up and deliver these beds to the families who need them most. 🙌

The gift of a bed to call your own and a safe, comfortable place to sleep is life-changing. You are true champions in our community! 💪 #CommunityInAction #EveryChildDeservesAFamily #111Project #FosterCareSupport #ChiOmegaCares

2024 in review!

This past year was no where near easy but i also had some of the best times in my life. I could go on and on about the the things i consider “bad” this year but i have learned to change my perspective. If you look at everything negative, you will have a crappy life. When you start looking at things from Gods perspective, you start to realize that everything happens for a reason and you shouldn’t take any of it for granted. This last year, I lost many people who I would’ve considered some of my best friends but that showed me who my real friends are, the ones who never left my side and I can go to them at any time. This last year, I spent lots of time at the doctors office for a countless number of things ranging anywhere from 4 months of PT to breaking a finger(s) to going blind in one eye to being emitted to the er for heart pains. I quit a job Iiked for a job that I love and a boss/pastor who believes in me and the calling I believe God has put on my life. I got to teach for during VBS all week for the first time. I got to organize and lead my first outreach event for the church. I lost my best friend of 13 years on Christmas Eve but I know he had a great life with us.

Thank you 2024 for everything that you threw at me and for everything you taught me. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for me.

Foster Support Project in Cleveland County today!
OU Football SOUL Mission, CityServe Oklahoma, and 14 111Project Church partners joined forces to supply 200 foster families in Cleveland County with a HIGE care package of household supplies, games, and snacks. OU Football players assembled, carried, and delivered these care packages. Now the churches will make a meaningful connection and offer ongoing encouragement and support. It’s a powerful thing when a community comes together!
Thank you @cityserveoklahoma for supplying everything that was needed to assemble the bags!

This week holds a special place in my heart that nothing else can replace.

This year I got to teach about my favorite thing to all of our kids and teach them all about missions. They learned that not only go and do missions in other countries or far away places but they can also be a missionary in their own schools and families. They also got to learn about the missionaries that we support as a church and got the chance to write them letters.
