A wonderful @actratoronto awards show culminated in a well-deserved ACTRA Award of Excellence for one of our All-Time Best, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee.

@angryappa delivered a heartfelt and hilarious speech full of graciousness and humility but most importantly love- love for his craft, his peers and @eastyorkmum and their family. Bravo Paul, and an awesome behind-the-veil Wonderland setup tribute by former ACTRA Toronto ED, now @dgctalent Executive Director, and lifelong friend of Paul’s, Alistair Hepburn. Who got his Teva signed by Teva himself :)

It was a great celebration of 🇨🇦’s superlative acting talent, and it was awesome for myself and Jen to reconnect with friends we haven’t seen in a hot minute (@fragglerockofficial ‘s @kanjachen and I worked on @oddsquadofficial back in the day on the Puppet episode and it was awesome to see @flyingkneefilms get a Lifetime Member Award — we worked together on Unrivaled so many years ago!)— all the while celebrating what makes film and television so important in Canada: our talent, our people, our peers.

Thank you ACTRA Toronto President @katezie and your whole ACTRA Team, especially host @nadinebhabs who CRUSHED it (I have no pictures as we were so enraptured by your hosting! Your self-tape mid-show hit hard for @jpo_and_co and myself) — A fantastic night of celebration for all 👏🙌🏆🎥🙏 WPS
