NWA! My Derijke & Co Capri aventurine dial !
It was sold out by the time I wanted to buy it but luckily I found a Japanese retailer who had one in stock and I quickly snapped it up !
Absolutely love the curved sapphire glass and the beautiful case proportions and aventurine dial . The lajoux perret manual wind movement is also a big plus ! What do you all think ?

With the CHRONOTHEORY&Co AV-98 aimed to create a casual timepiece that incorporates the refined details of a dress watch.

I personally rarely wear a tuxedo or a suit.
Since I couldn’t find a watch that would complement my everyday casual attire while also featuring the design elements characteristic of the 1940s, I decided to create one myself.

Thank you for the many inquiries we have been receiving regarding the CHRONOTHEORY&Co AV-98.

As each piece requires 2.5 months to craft, we release them at a pace of 3 units every 6 months.
The next release is scheduled for the spring of 2027.

The CHRONOTHEORY&Co AV-98 Strato Navy features a dial inspired by the blue lacquer body of a Stratocaster guitar—true to its name.

Achieving the specific hue—a shade sitting right between blue and red—was a particularly challenging process.

Hand-shaping the movement bridge for the CHRONOTHEORY & Co. AV-98.

After the shape is modified and the edges are beveled, the surface is polished to a perfectly flat finish and adorned with a semi-circular Côtes de Genève pattern.

This is the stage requiring the utmost care from the watchmaker; if the surface preparation is imperfect, the bridge becomes unusable, necessitating a restart of the entire process.

The movement finishing of the CHRONOTHEORY&Co AV-98 draws its inspiration not from modern wristwatches, but from pocket watches of a century ago.

Consequently, the gear spokes are finished by hand with chamfering and the creation of defined inner angles.
This same meticulous work is applied even to the spokes of the 3rd and 4th wheels, which remain hidden beneath the bridges.

We do not intentionally limit production numbers.
The reality is that, even with a watchmaker working full-time on production, it takes two and a half months to complete a single timepiece.
