I’m Garry McLaren, an independent artist from Scotland, and I’m about to share a song that means everything to me. 🤍

I wrote ‘Faded to Grey’ about my mum after she passed away. It’s taken me time to feel ready to share it, but now feels like the right moment.

Next week, I’m beginning the journey of sharing this song with you throughout my promotional campaign.

If you love the emotional honesty of @lewiscapaldi , @deanlewis or @cianducrot , this one might be for you. 🖤

Follow along and help me make this release something special.

Let’s see where this song takes us.

Garry 🤍

‘Dapper zijn’ tijdens mijn voorstelling vorige week

Dit lied, dat ik maakte omdat iedereen me altijd dapper noemt voor dingen waar ik niet eens een keus in had, was de afsluiting van mijn voorstelling ‘Was ik maar een Traumahondje’. ❤️
nu is het jullie beurt

tekst geschreven door mij op de melodie van ‘Part of me’ door @cianducrot

Another piece from our HT25 concert by @cianducrot which was inspired by his many choral arrangements of this song!

Hi everyone, I’m Garry McLaren, a singer-songwriter from Clydebank! 🎶

I’m working on building up my social media following as I get ready to release a song that’s really close to my heart, called ‘Faded to Grey’. 🤍

You can find out more about the story behind the song in my previous posts.

I’m hoping to build a community of people who connect with my music, and every follow, like, share and comment genuinely means so much to me. You could be part of helping this song reach the people who need to hear it.

If you love artists like @deanlewis and @cianducrot , I think you’ll connect with my sound and the lyrics of this song.

I’ll be starting to properly promote ‘Faded to Grey’ over the coming weeks, and I’d love for you to be part of the journey from the beginning!

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to listen and support me. It really means a lot.

Garry 🤍

@leokruppmusic asked me to make a guitar pick case for @cianducrot … so he got the first one. @teddyswims got a personalized wooden bear handed to him at @greek_theatre last year. And last night… @alexwarren got a personalized guitar pick case, too!!! As a mom, there is nothing better than making personalized gifts to give to my son’s hero’s. Thank you Cian, Teddy, and Alex for inspiring future musicians to continue reaching for their dreams! 🖤
