What a day 💜

What a day of movement, medicine, and community at our Youth Field Day! 🌟⚡️

From sack races to the Granny Pants Toss, our youth and their school staff showed up running, laughing, and cheering each other on from start to finish.

A huge thank you to our community elder Perci Ami for joining us as our guest speaker and reminding us all that movement, connection, and community can carry us through hard times. 🙏

And none of this happens without the people behind the scenes, our incredible volunteers who ran stations, kept score, and made sure every team felt seen. Thank you for giving your time and your heart to our youth.

To our sponsors: Phoenix Suns & Mercury Gaming Foundation, Allstate, and Willmeng, thank you for believing in our mission and helping make this day possible. Your support means our kids get to run, play, and grow together.

Mission Movement 🌱 Grateful for every hand that helped make this Field Day one to remember.

I really enjoyed supporting @allthrive365 at their annual community breakfast and spending time with my sisters who are all making a difference in their own ways. I got to see my daughter in her element and meet a couple of her coworkers. We listened to two families who shared heartwarming stories of the help they received and the message of creating a ripple was a good reminder that the smallest good deeds can make a lasting impact. It was a good morning!

*had to edit in Monika because she had to leave early 😁

Financial Literacy is Medicine for Our Future

Our young people showed up ready to learn and they left with tools that will shape their futures. From budgeting basics to understanding credit, from saving strategies to the dream of homeownership, this workshop planted seeds that will grow for generations.

Huge gratitude to our community partners who made this possible:

⚡️ @enterprisebanktrust for co-facilitating and bringing real financial expertise into the room and financial support

⚡️@triciavsellsaz triciavsellsaz for opening the door to homeownership and showing our youth what’s possible

⚡️@cihuapactlicollective for opening their beautiful space to us.

And to our community sponsor, Frybread House, thank you for believing in this vision and nourishing our community while investing in our young people’s futures.

This work doesn’t happen witout any of the community sponsors and partnerships.

This is what community medicine looks like: showing up for each other, sharing knowledge, and building a future rooted in strength and self-determination.

Update to our upcoming “Financial Literacy is Medicine for Our Future” workshop.
.
We have 3 amazing co-facilitators bringing their expertise in banking and saving 101, intro to investing, and future homeownership as investment.
.
We are so excited to be able to bring and share knowledge to some youth in our communities around topics that are not taught in schools and often time not talked about in the homes.
.
This is a beginner workshop offering basic information and community resources to youth 13-18.
.
It’s important to start these conversations, knowledge sharing, and resource connection now so when they are needing it they have a basic under and/or connection to support them when they need it.

Movement for Mental Health
Join us for a powerful gathering designed exclusively for women , where we move, heal, and connect as community. Movement for Mental Health is a high-energy, wellness event that brings together the power of physical activity and holistic education to nourish the mind, body, and spirit.

Participants will take part in a community workout experience, followed by a guided yoga and stretching cool-down session to restore and ground the body. Along the way, you’ll gain meaningful knowledge about how consistent movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to prevent mental and behavioral health challenges, reduce disease risk, and reclaim our well-being.

We’ll also dive into the power of nutrition, because what we put into our bodies matters just as much as how we move them. Whole body wellness starts from the inside out.
Stay for the raffle, the famous earring exchange, and connect with women who are on the same journey toward healing and wholeness.

This is your invitation to show up for yourself

Huge thank you to our community partner for the space we are using to facilitate this event @fitness48studio

Location address is on the eventbrite.
