My journey at Cindrebay School of Fashion, Trivandrum, where I pursued my Diploma in Fashion Designing, has been a truly enriching experience. It has helped me grow creatively, discover my potential, and gain the confidence to pursue my dreams in the fashion industry. Balancing my diploma with my preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination has taught me discipline, dedication, and time management. I am especially grateful to Cindrebay’s Placement Cell team for their continuous support and dedicated efforts in helping me find the right career opportunity. I am proud to have secured a placement as a Bridal Consultant and Fashion Designer two months before completing my course. I am sincerely grateful to my mentors for their invaluable guidance and support. Alina Ma’am taught me to appreciate the finer details of fashion, while Lakshmi Ma’am helped me discover and refine my artistic abilities. Anusree Ma’am broadened my understanding of fabrics and their versatility. Susanna Ma’am provided me with valuable opportunities to explore my potential, and Sangeetha Ma’am’s constant trust in my abilities strengthened my confidence and determination. I am equally grateful to my dear friends for making this journey memorable with their friendship and encouragement. My heartfelt thanks to Cindrebay School of Fashion, Trivandrum, and all my respected mentors for being an integral part of my journey. Cindrebay has not only shaped my skills but has also inspired me to turn my passion into a profession and my dreams into reality. Taniya Elizabeth Thomas Department of Fashion design

“Indo western “ This design is a celebration of India’s timeless craftsmanship reimagined through a contemporary lens. Inspired by the elegance of traditional draping, I transformed classic silhouettes into a bold Indo-Western statement. The one-shoulder draped bodice, sculptural ruffles, asymmetrical skirt, and handcrafted details create a balance between heritage and innovation. Every element reflects strength, grace, and individuality, allowing the wearer to embrace culture with a modern sense of style. Designer: Bhanu A

London was always the dream. We just never imagined work would be the thing that took us there. ✈️ For a week, Rochu and I documented the Cindrebay Design Safari at London Design Festival 2026, between call times, we stole a few moments for ourselves: wandering the city, figuring it out our own way, chasing blue hour on the Thames, and grinning like kids every time we remembered where we were. This reel is a glimpse of both — the project, and the two of us finding our feet in a city we’d only ever seen in films. A huge thank you to @cindrebay Team, @tnbasant Sir & Swapna Mam for trusting us — and for giving us the space to do our best work. His idea of the city as a classroom stayed with us the whole week. Because we’ve always believed it: nothing teaches you like travel does. Every street is a lesson. London just proved it. 🤍 [london travel reel, london design festival 2026, design safari london, cindrebay, city as a classroom, travel and education, study trip to london, travel filmmakers,, behind the scenes filmmaking, dream trip to london, first time in london, london vlog, london architecture] #londonphotographer #visualstorytelling #cinematicvideo #londondesign

“The Perfect Doll” is a conceptual garment inspired by the unrealistic standards of perfection that society often imposes on women. Through this design, I wanted to portray how women are constantly expected to look, behave, and exist according to society’s definition of perfection, often at the cost of their true identity. The floral corset symbolizes society’s expectation of the “perfect” female body and appearance. The balloon organza skirt represents a cage, illustrating how women can become trapped by these beauty standards. The face veil signifies how women often hide their true selves behind forced perfection and the need for acceptance. The chains attached to the cage represent the invisible control that society holds over women, making them feel like puppets driven by expectations rather than their own choices. The hanging tags symbolize the constant labels, opinions, judgments, and criticism that women are subjected to throughout their lives. Through this garment, I wanted to encourage women to embrace their authentic selves instead of seeking validation through society’s approval. My intention was not simply to create a beautiful garment, but to create a piece that tells a meaningful story. I believe fashion is an art form, and art becomes truly powerful when it evokes emotion and starts conversations. This design is my way of expressing that every woman deserves the freedom to define herself on her own terms, rather than by society’s expectations. Designer : Tasmia Kousar
