No price hikes. No ads. No doubt about where you can watch your favorite movies. Physical media FTW 📀📼

If you got rid of all your DVDs and VHS tapes, the good news is it’s never too late to build up your collection again and free yourself from the tyranny of the streamers. Those of us who never stopped collecting will welcome you with open arms!

A slow burning spy film starring the iconic Robert Redford. 50 years ago this film questioned whether you can really trust anyone even if you’re on the same side. Extra popcorn for anyone dressed like Redford.

Shout out to @michaelgeier (who shared some great recommendations with me!) for capturing this video in the closet! This was so much fun! I got to stand in the space with @heycinemasugar who’s covering the festival and @nataliejeanbauer who had an amazing list of picks!

This was one of my favorite experiences getting to stand in line and talk Cinema! @criterioncollection so glad you came here to Chicago for @chifilmfest ! It’s so cool how you get to bring people together who love movies!

it’s really awkward when john david washington decides to wear the same thing as you to a red carpet.

thanks again to @heycinemasugar for letting me attend the @chifilmfest opening night! to be able to witness and cover the 60th CIFF is such a huge honor. i’m still so bummed that my mic decided not to work for most of my videos 🥲

as background, “the creator” is a movie that me sob and feel things that are *rare* for me to feel during movies. i was so excited to get the chance to tell him that in person, as well as support him, his brother, and the rest of team for “the piano lesson” (which you can catch this afternoon at AMC newcity! go, go, go!)

it’s easy to let a screen separate us from artists, but it’s really something else to be able to shake their hand and validate them on how their work impacts us. it’s all the more inspiring to feel how empathetic john was to how powerful movies can be.

(fangirl moment over)

4 epic screenings full of tears and laughter. And whole slew of 4 star reviews to match.

And Mrs get behind it. Tell your mates. Tell your enemies. Tell some random on the bus. (Within reason we dont want you getting arrested).

For those who believe we should:
