The future belongs to the next generation, and these photos are proof of that.

Thank you to @hayqphoto.art for not only attending all 3 days of our DoPing Workshops but for also giving us a glimpse into his vision of the event thru his camera. Hayk is a @tumocenter alumni, and has studied under one of our members. Hayk is one of many young and talented individuals who have training in the world of cinema from our members throughout Armenia.

Knowledge grows when it’s shared. Investing in the next generation is one of the most meaningful ways we can shape the future of cinematography

This year’s DoPing Workshops also featured three insightful presentations exploring the latest developments in cinematography, production, and lens technology.

Andy Buckland from ARRI @arri introduced the new Ensō Prime lenses, demonstrating how the innovative Ensō Vintage Elements system allows cinematographers to quickly tailor the character, texture, and feel of an image without changing the lens itself.

The Cinema Foundation of Armenia @cfarmenia presented the Armenina’s new Cash Rebate Program, outlining its benefits, application process, and the exciting opportunities it creates for both local and international productions choosing to film in Armenia.

Rounding out the presentations, Vika Safrigina @vikams7 of Leitz Cine @leitzcine was joined by Bruno Delbonnel ASC AFC and Seamus McGarvey ASC BSC ISC for a discussion on the creative importance of lens selection, exploring how lens choices shape visual storytelling and influence the emotional language of a film.

A special thank you to NANLUX @nanlux_official, with the support of Taylor & Co. Rentals @taylor_and_co_rental for hosting our lighting demonstration.

The session was led by brothers George Mooradian ASC ACG, and Atlanta-based gaffer Denny Mooradian.

We were pleased to welcome a strong turnout of attendees, who had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience lighting and shooting a scene.

Master cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel ASC, AFC joined us for an engaging conversation filled with audience questions, thoughtful discussion, and generous insights from his remarkable career.

Sharing stories from his collaborations with acclaimed directors, Bruno spoke about his creative process, the relationships that shape a film, and the philosophy behind his approach to cinematography. He even revealed one of his go-to lens choices—but we’ll keep that secret for those who were in the room.

Many aspects of cinematography were discussed, which also included great questions from our audience. We can’t thank Seamus enough for being part of this experience.

Be sure to register and attend the remaining days!

Hopping on the #2016 trend ✨ what a year.
Fake nose piercing on repeat, bopping around LA with my favorite clients on the influencing circuit, first-ever NYC Fashion Week, studio shoots leveling up, the doggie legends still by our side 🐾
Meggie had Tom, the birth of girls day, and life was filled with unforgettable moments with Jake and my besties! Can’t forget of course face morphing filters! 🐼

To my amazing students,
What an absolute blessing it has been to spend this time with you. ✨❤️
There truly aren’t enough words to describe how much you all mean to me. I love you very much, and I’m so grateful for every laugh we shared. As I’ve said before, the quality of your paintings impressed not only myself, but also my friends, my family, and everyone who follows my work. You should all be incredibly proud.

I wish each of you the very best in whatever you choose to do next. And remember, I’m always here for you whether you have questions about art, life, or anything in between.

To the entire team @coafkids
I can’t thank you all enough for selecting me for this amazing 4 day art workshop. Thank you all for being there for me anytime I had a question or needed anything. You guys didn’t skip a beat and made sure I had all the right tools and resources to conduct an amazing workshop for these kids. And I mentioned before you’re stuck with me forever 😂. Love you all very much and grateful for all the new life long friendships. ❤️

With Love & Gratitude,
Krikor Tchay
