Ya’ll amaze me! Your genuine love of our work; the warmth of your familiar smiles, your patience as we try to juggle too many things at the booth for too many people. We feel the love and we appreciate you SO much! So do the unhoused women, refugees, and immigrants served by @the_sophia_way and @rescueorg ... with your support at the Bellevue Arts Fest, we were able to donate $1,710 to these two incredible non-profits! It is truly our pleasure to use our craft to give back to the community and we thank you for making that possible.

Hi,

It’s been a minute since I’ve dropped in to post something personal.

I have been collaborating with someone who is helping to manage my social media accounts.
It is something that I have dreamt about for years.

Instagram has really served me and my business over the years and I’m so grateful for the network.

AND I’m tired of running a business, coaching, fulfilling all the daily operations and marketing and managing my social media accounts.

Having the extra support has been amazing.

All that to say, that I still want to pop on here when it feels in flow and when I have something interesting or inspiring to share.

That is the magic combination in my opinion.

Right before I put my cat down, my partner and I decided to move out into separate homes. I am obsessed with my man and could not be more grateful for his partnership.

AND living together after a decade was not working anymore.

Perimenopause really can be such a gift, ladies.

With the help of fluctuating hormones and a deep trust in my spirit guides and the support of my sisterhood, I was able to find the courage to create a new reality.

One that feels deeply aligned with our soul’s path.

The end of the year was a lot.

And after the holidays passed, I have been able to sit quietly in my new home (first time I’ve lived alone in 25 years) with a sense of ease and abundance that comes from a sense of safety, stability and trust.

This is what it looks like to trust. To act out of courage not fear. To listen deeply and respond. To fall apart with good friends. To break molds and patterns that no longer serve you. To burn and destroy what is no longer working. And to create from a place of vulnerability, authenticity and love.

Which means that I now have more capacity to lead. More energy to serve our community. More time for prayer and meditation. More trust in the wisdom I hold.
And I can’t wait to bring this newfound abundant energy to Fitness Union.

So, while we will continue to use social media as a platform to inform, educate and share with our followers who we are and what our mission is, I will also use it for periodic updates on whatever I feel coming through.

Ann has been sewing and creating with fabric for nearly five decades. It is part of her heritage and a way of being in this world that is sew deeply woven into every fiber of her being.

She learned from her grandmothers, aunties and mother and loves that by sharing her skills in this craft, she honors her roots and lineage.

Ann loves to design garments that are timeless, classic and never go out of style. Though she loves to co~create anything her clients envision, her specialty and deepest love is coat making.
