Its time to Gogoooo! This one is for all my babes wanting to RADIATE with confidence, and have the moves to back it up 💃

This one is open level, beginner friendly, and combo based with lots of mods available for my int/adv dancers too.

We'll start by drilling movements and transitions,

Then walk through strategies for adding personality and extra flare,

And at the end, we will put it all together with a fun combo you can take with you.

Im so excited to share a lil femme magic in this one and I hope you will join me!

See you soon 😘

About the instructor🌟

Cisco is a full-time shuffle dancer based in Seattle, WA. Self-taught, she has made her way from rewinding YouTube videos over and over while learning in her bedroom, to performing on stages all over the US at clubs and festivals like Beyond Wonderland and Texas Eclipse Festival. Founder of the community called You Can Shuffle With Us, her emphasis in teaching is to create a fun & welcoming environment that feels like home and makes dance accessible to ALL people - because everyone deserves to have fun and enjoy moving their bodies!

Dr. Cisco prescribes you 1 dose of DnB, to be taken daily, accompanied by jumping around and waving finger guns.

Come get your medicine on Saturday at the studio! This will probably be our last drum and bass dance class of 2026 👟

Beginners welcome! We are doing choreo this time. Comment if you want a sneak peek at the routine 👀

Joanie created her first choreo and naturally I decided we had to film it so I can show her off 🤩

Watching Joanie's progress over the last 2 years has been one of my favorite things of all time.

She does not shy away from doing the work, and her consistency has allowed her dance to blossom into something truly, uniquely expressive and hers.

And that musicality??? 🤌 gold.

Joanie, it's a gift to be a part of your journey 🥹 thank you for letting us do the video!

Can we get a 👏👏 in the comments for this queen?

11 variations in 30 seconds and I gotta be honest, this coulda been a 5 min video because theres SO much more you can do to add variety and styling to your RM.

Mastering your fundamentals doesnt just mean learning the footwork move,

It means understanding how to control and manipulate each part of your body within that move.

It means understanding the bounces, the weight shifts, and the different ways you can accentuate the timing.

Above all, it means your foundations are strong enough that you feel supported as you play, explore, and tell the story YOU want to tell.

This is all the stuff we are diving into this month in the Building Blocks: Make It Yours series.

Plus, we will cover some fun variations,
new moves and patterns,
And the mindset + creative approach to making your dance practice sustainable, healthy, and so so deep, juicy, and rich.

It starts on Wednesday! See you then??

I grew up watching my mom obsess over the way light is captured in glass. And dedicate hundreds of hours to the fine craftsmanship of making art for the sake of art.

I think that gave me the same obsession with what happens to fabric in the right environment.

I pick out fabric the way she picks out stained glass. We both run it over to the light to see how it changes. How it shines.

I guess somewhere along the way, watching her made me wonder:

what if I could wrap myself in a window?
