Congratulations to our student Isla Mallison, who is headed to Miami City Ballet’s Pre-Professional Division for the 2026/27 season! ✨

Watching a dancer grow, take risks, and step into exciting new opportunities is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Isla, it has been such a joy to have you as part of the STEPS community and to witness your growth, dedication, and artistry.

We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. Miami is lucky to have you — go show them what we already know! 💖

Congratulations to our student Cairo Orr, who is headed to City Ballet San Francisco’s Pre-Professional Division for the 2026/27 season! ✨

We’ve had the privilege of watching Cairo pour so much dedication, discipline, and heart into her training, and it has been incredibly rewarding to see that hard work open the door to this next opportunity.

Cairo, we are so proud of the person, dancer and artist you are becoming and so excited to cheer you on from Portland as you begin this next chapter in San Francisco. Keep working, keep growing, and go make us proud. 💙

Congratulations to our student Dahlia Cunningham, who is headed to City Ballet San Francisco’s Pre-Professional Division for the 2026/27 season! ✨

Dahlia, it has been an absolute joy to watch your artistry, determination, and love for dance continue to grow. This next chapter is a beautiful reflection of the work you’ve put in and the commitment you’ve brought into the studio each day.

We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and cannot wait to watch you continue to challenge yourself and find your voice as an artist in San Francisco. Your STEPS family will be cheering you on every step of the way. 🙌

💃 Sophia Xiao of City Ballet San Francisco was definitely the “One to Tango”!
At California Dance Classics — San Francisco, she absolutely nailed it.
🔥Fearless. Fiery. Flirty. Free.👏
So very deserving of the 🥇 GOLD MEDAL in the Neo-Classical Solo 15–16 Years.
🔊 Be sure to watch with SOUND ON — Sophia doesn’t just dance to the music, she plays with it! 🎶

I’m thrilled to share that I will be joining @balletoperadeparis JB for the 26/27-27/28 seasons. This has been my dream company for so many years and I feel so honored to have this opportunity.

I want to acknowledge ABT Studio Company and Mr. Sascha Radetsky and thank them for their belief in me. It is such an incredible program which did not make this decision easy. I equally want to thank the Prix de Lausanne for being the doorway to this incredible opportunity. I truly wish all the dancers and staff of ABT Stuco a beautiful season.

I of course want to thank all of my family and everyone back home at @cityballetsf, especially my mentor Nikolai Kabaniaev. They have been my home for all these years and have taught me everything I know.

Thank you to everyone. I am so excited to start my career as a professional dancer. 🇫🇷
