Dear @cycletozero, Thank you for a year of training, community, purpose, and love. Together, we raised $1.82 million for @sfaidsfound providing critical support at a time when government funding is disappearing and the lives of LGBTQ+ people and those living with HIV seem to matter a little less.

What you create is bigger than a bike ride. You make us believe in a world without labels, or tribal divisions, a world where everyone belongs. Whether you’re a Bear, a Monkey, a Hot Wheel, an Outspoken, a PosPedaler, a Papi, or simply yourself, you’re welcomed, celebrated, and loved.

You filled our hearts with the beauty of coastal California, the scent of wild fennel and jasmine, and the reminder that every climb - even the hardest - won’t break your soul, that our fight is both necessary and worth it.

I can’t wait to ride with you again. ❤️🚴🏻‍♂️

🩷 LA IS NOT SAFE 🩷. My costume this year is an homage to one of my favorite street artists in LA, Piccle P. (@itspicclepee ). Their simple heart shaped characters seen around LA weave a tale of friendship, companionship, betrayal and death; always reminding me that while it is my home, LA IS NOT SAFE. 🌇.

Recently, it has come to my attention that I love New Orleans. 💜⚜️🦐

Actually, I’ve been several times through the years, but… It’s been a month since we were last in that glorious place. Voila! Memorable meals, sweet friends, powerful histories and gay gay gay Decadence! Need to get back to bike riding through those beautiful bumpy streets as soon as possible. 🍹✨💚
