KEEP YOUR CAPS ON!
When you aren't using your products of course.

Have you ever experienced a situation where a can of hairspray stopped working and couldn't be unclogged? Extended exposure to air can cause the product to become tacky and dry out.

The details you don’t always see are the ones that matter most.

A clean weft line isn’t just about making extensions look pretty under the hood.

Straight, intentional stitching and a clean foundation help support even weight distribution, proper tension, comfort, and the integrity of your natural hair.

Because beautiful extensions shouldn’t only look seamless when your hair is down—they should be thoughtfully constructed underneath, too.

For me, comfort + function + clean technique will always be just as important as the finished transformation.

It’s all in the details.

Your hair doesn’t always need a complete overhaul. Sometimes, it just needs a little reset.

If your hair has been feeling dry, dull, tangled, or simply not like itself lately, we can help figure out what it’s asking for—whether that’s a customized treatment, a fresh trim, or a few simple changes to your home care routine.

Healthy, beautiful hair starts with giving it what it actually needs.

Ready for a little fall refresh? Come spend some time with us at Refinery Salon Co. in 📍Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Your dream hair doesn’t have to wait until 2027. 🤍

The holiday season is quickly approaching. If you’ve been considering hair extensions, a custom crown topper, a Mesh or Meshless Integration System, now is the time to schedule your consultation.

Custom hair transformations require time, thoughtful planning, and in many cases custom ordering. I want to make sure we have the time to create a solution that’s truly right for you and your lifestyle.

To accommodate more guests before the holidays, I’ve extended my salon hours for November and December!

✨ Holiday Salon Hours

* Tuesday–Thursday | 10 AM–5 PM
* Friday | 10 AM–3 PM

My final day behind the chair for 2026 is December 23.

As the holidays approach, availability will become increasingly limited. Once my schedule is full, new appointments will move into 2027. A waitlist is available if you’d like to be notified when an earlier appointment becomes available.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to invest in yourself and the hair you’ve always wanted, consider this your little reminder. 🤍

Let’s start with a consultation and create a plan completely customized to YOU.

📍 Refinery Salon & Co. | Cedar Rapids, Iowa

✨ Schedule your consultation at www.deannabean.com or join the waitlist to be notified about cancellations and newly available appointments.

I SWEAR, everyone is going through the summer blues. Dry, brittle, and lifeless hair.

You need a repair and moisture treatment, but you might need more of one than the other. That’s why it should be customized. It’ll prep your hair so your fall color lasts. Let's bring it back to life!

The most beautiful part of this transformation isn’t just what you see… it’s what’s happening underneath.

I created a custom Mesh Integration System for a client whose goal isn’t just to have beautiful, fuller hair today, but to give her natural hair the opportunity to grow while wearing a system that supports her along the way.

This is why I love hair restoration so much. It’s not just changing my clients’ lives, but it has also given me so much more— a new purpose to help women gain a new kind of confidence.

It’s not about adding as much hair as possible. It’s about creating a thoughtful, customized solution that works with the hair you have, respects your natural density, and supports your long-term hair goals.

Every foundation I create is intentional. Every system is designed around the individual wearing it.

Because hair restoration should never be one-size-fits-all.

If you’ve been struggling with thinning hair or hair loss and thought traditional extensions were your only option, I’d love to show you what’s possible.
