Cobblestone streets. Glowing pumpkins. Legendary characters… THIS is one of our favorite Midwest festivals! ✨

Legends & Lanterns returns during October weekends (starting 10/10). Here you’ll find interactive characters and activities like: storytelling, musical performances, scavenger hunts, and sugar skull transformations by professional make-up artists. In the past, they’ve also had cute passport stamp stations!

A few pro-tips from @cjmeyeradventures ⤵️

🎟️ The festival is FREE to enter! It takes place along historic Main Street in St. Charles, MO.

👀 You just never know who you’ll bump into since some characters move around (and may not be present each day). Our favorite group to find? The Ghouling Stones 🎶 Living statues? Rockstar vocalists? They’re hilarious and incredibly talented.

🎉 They have an opening parade before the festival starts each day and a closing ceremony.

🧁 Dessert is a must! Stop in for a treat at Sugar & Slice or Grandma’s Cookies on Main!

🎃 They feature Pumpkin Glow nights on 10/23 and 10/24- it’s magical! Main Street is lined with carved pumpkins. Parking can be tricky!

2026 Festival Schedule:

Sat, 10/10: 11am to 6pm
Sun, 10/11: 12pm to 5pm
Sat, 10/17: 11am to 6pm
Sun, 10/18: 12pm to 5pm
Fri, 10/23: 5pm to 8pm (Pumpkin Glow Night)
Sat, 10/24: 11am to 8pm (Pumpkin Glow Night)
Sun, 10/25: 12pm to 5pm

👻 Have you been to this charming Midwest festival? Who is your favorite character?

This might be one of the coolest spots in St. Louis! @cjmeyeradventures shares why this coffee spot needs to be on your list of places to visit:

🏦 They have an old bank vault room! Grab your drink, step inside the vault, and imagine all the stories these walls could tell.
🍂 They have awesome seasonal specials and coffee flights. Still thinking about the blueberry pancake and pumpkin pie lattes from last Fall.
🌺 Tucked inside the historic Hill neighborhood, it’s close to other nearby STL attractions like The Missouri Botanical Garden, Tower Grove Park, and tours at The Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company.
☀️ Cute little sidewalk patio in front... very family friendly!

🌻 BLOOMING NOW!

@cjmeyeradventures is sharing her favorite spots to enjoy sunflower season around St. Louis:

1️⃣ Columbia Bottom Conservation Area: Just starting to bloom! (FREE)
2️⃣ Marian’s Place at Cliff Cave County Park: Give it a little more time…hopefully in the next few weeks! (FREE) @mariansplace_org
3️⃣ Weldon Spring Conservation Area: At its PEAK right now! (FREE)
4️⃣ Brookdale Farms: Their sunflower maze is officially open! Admission is $8 per person and includes tractor rides, the petting zoo, low ropes course, and inflatables. @visitbrookdalefarms

✨ Bonus: We haven’t made it to Eckert’s yet, but I’ve heard their sunflower fields are beautiful. They’re expected to bloom in early August! @eckertfarms

Know before you go:

☀️ It gets HOT! Sunflowers love full sun, so bring water and your cutest sunglasses for photos, especially if visiting in the middle of the day. Golden hour before sunset is my favorite time to snap pics!
🐝 Expect lots of bees. It’s worth giving little ones a heads-up before you go so they aren’t surprised.
🚗 Some of the roads leading to the fields can be quite dusty!

The Mexican = must go 🌮🍹

We went for our St. Louis Creator Community outing and they seriously took such good care of us. The service stood out right away and everything felt so easy.

The clásica margarita… SO good. And I’m still thinking about my chicken enchilada 🤤

And starting this Saturday they have live music which makes it even more fun for a girls lunch or night out.

Send this to who you’re going with and
