Calling all @lightboxexpo attendes!! Come hangout with @pentelofamerica and Creators at our panel discussion this SATURDAY where we’ll be discussing “Finding your Family” and “The Importance of Creator Communities”, featuring the Pentel Creator Collective App!🌟❤️

Here’s a snapshot:
“Building a career in animation, illustration, or entertainment art can feel isolating—but the right creative community can change everything. This panel explores how artists find mentors, trusted peers, honest feedback, accountability, and the shared knowledge that helps careers grow. We’ll discuss where to find existing communities, how to start your own, and why in-person connection still matters, from casual coffee meetups to organized events. We’ll also look at the benefits and pitfalls of social media and how artists can build deeper, lasting relationships online and off. Whether you’re established or just starting out, you’ll leave with practical ideas for finding your creative family and becoming stronger together.”

We hope to see you there!! It will be so fun☺️❤️!!

The 2026 LRB Illustration competition results are in and Kavan Presley is number 3! Give it up for Kavan!

I think Kavan has participated in all 3 challenges thus far and he's yet to place... UNTIL NOW!

An immense thanks to powerhouse Illustrator @ckoehlerart for judging the contest this year and for sending our contestants some rad @pentelofamerica drawing supplies! You're too kind, Chris!

THX BUB! - To everyone who came to the “Portrait Of X - Danger Room: WOLVERINE” art show opening last Saturday, it truly meant the world to me! I couldn’t be more proud of every artist on the roster who devoted their time, talent and treasure to this endeavor. Huge shout to @fcbrewing for hosting! The show is still going strong until 10/23…so don’t miss your chance at some truly X-cellent one-of-a-kind Wolverine work. Thank you all for supporting real people making real art in honor of a reeeal tough Mutant. 💪
🗡️🗡️🗡️
With the hits that we’ve taken in the creative community recently like gallery closures, A.I., layoffs, etc…it’s been my hope that a show like this represents *healing*, and always getting right back up to do what we do best — just like Logan would. Cheers and Excelsior! 🍻

#PortraitOfX DANGER ROOM: WOLVERINE (Roster) • We’re so back, Bub 💪. I’m super pumped about our next #XMen tribute art show at the fantastic @fcbrewing — this time featuring everyone’s favorite Canucklehead: James #Logan Howlett, aka The #Wolverine! 🐺 With a handful of artists returning from Danger Room ‘24 (#PoXDangerRoom), and some phenomenal new recruits - this roster is all the rage, and I’m sure what they create will be as sharp as a set of Adamantium claws. Stay locked in as things develop until the show opening on 9/26/26! LFG. ❌

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World x Everything Everywhere All At Once
