So this happened today… I won the Mall Galleries/ Federation of British Artists award at the Society of Wildlife Artists exhibition for my pastel ‘Our changing food chain (Sark Octopus fisherman). I was presented my prize by Actor Sam West and met up with friends and family and my daughter came down from Manchester too. The tax-free personal allowance starts to be withdrawn once earnings hit £100,000 and individuals may pay more in taxes and student loan repayments than they take home.
