A little glimpse into a 1:1 session with Willow 🎨

session with Willow 🎨

These sessions aren’t about finishing a perfect piece. They’re about helping Willow see things differently, try new techniques and experiment with drawing, colour and mark-making in her own way.

It’s lovely watching her ideas develop and seeing more of her own personal creative style come through each time.

Being human is what I’m here for
slowing down to your own speed, your own rhythm
still enough to look at the flowers
and in love enough with life
to grown them

I have absolutely no idea what this 2016 thing is all about but it prompted me to look back ten years to the start of our journey. 16 insta posts from 2016 featuring myself and friends in our 2nd/3rd collection, our first studio (damp and dark but cosy), our old house, one of our dresses in the windows of @couverture who we still work with and @brittanybathgate in one of our jumpsuits (and a lovely holiday in Sri Lanka).

Taking my new job within Melbourne High Society seriously, starting in Frankston South 👑 its officially summer thanks to @caseymoore kicking off the party season!

ILY new and old friendships - can hardly believe how lucky I am!

I researched the theme 1975 a little too much and came as Picnic at Hanging Rock “Miranda!?”, the Peter Weir Aussie classic released that year, it was also going to Jaws or Bette Midler winning a Grammy but when the thrift store gods offered up this Miranda little picnic outfit, that’s what I went with.

Welcome to THE SET. A monthly house concert in the tiniest (and best!) venue in Frankston South: The Bloom Room. Featuring headline singers that have put together a SET of original music for ever growing, always loving community that orbit around Juleiaah. Singers, poets, artists, musicians and HUMANS that crave connection and realness through her events that are equal parts raucous and reverent. The first set is the Support Acts, Juleiaah’s choir and other singers that have something to share and the headliner this month is the incredible JOANNA. I cannot wait for everyone to hear what we have been cooking up! Book a tix to see what the fuss is about and join in on the fun (audiences become the choir!).

Deepening…lingering… I recently attended the Intention and Non-Doing course in Melbourne with Andy Pike. What an exciting, spirally inspiring experience! Being back in the relational field—immersed in the essence of BCST practice. I find it has deepened my stillness—a stillness that is not still, a quietness that is not quiet, an effervescent passing.

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to explore and access expression of health alongside everyone in the class, arising and passing.

Spending four days together doing nothing was absolutely worth it. The passing lingers…🙏❤️‍🔥
