✨CLARE✨
I've started a project that I don't have a name for yet. As someone who longs for adventure, but has a lot of barriers that prevent me from being adventurous (anxiety being one of many) I wanted to photograph women who have overcome their own mental barriers to pursue a more wild life. Here is Clare in her own words.

"Confidence - feeling sure of yourself and your abilities. It can be gained, improved and lost. I love to be outside but especially love being in the sea. Swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding; the list goes on. Since having my beautiful boy I have had a confidence crisis when it comes to surfing. I have a new body, new physical responsibilities and new mental barriers. Overcoming this is a work in progress and will take time.
Slowly I am reminding myself why I love to surf. Time in the water, freezing fingers, salty skin, peaceful mind, camaraderie, smiles and yeewwwws. I will not give up. This is my adventure and I will keep pursuing it."
