Nourished by Nature: An Afternoon of Design and Adventure at NewTree Ranch with Rivian.

This past Sunday, we opened our gates to a small group of Design Healdsburg guests to experience a holistic approach to design: one that brings architecture, landscape, art, regenerative agriculture, hospitality, and sustainability into conversation with one another, to consider what becomes possible when every element of a place is created to be in harmony with nature. ✨🌿

At the ranch, we are gently nourished to slow down, cared for by the bounty of surroundings that nurture and heal us.

Celebrating Dr. Orin Carpenter’s July Artist in Residence at Appellation Healdsburg. ✨

It was a joy to gather for the reception and live painting office hours at @travelandleisure ‘s #1 Resort in both California and the continental U.S. What an honor to experience art, summer, and community in such a culinary-forward destination.

Dr. Carpenter’s body of work captures the spirit of the California coast: sunshine, presence, and the ever-changing beauty of light. His paintings invite us to slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with the landscapes that inspire us.

There’s still time to experience the residency and new body of work. Join us on July 18th for the Spirit of Place workshop at Appellation Healdsburg and explore your own creative connection to Northern California.

Tickets are available at the link in bio.

South Bay is shining. You should come to have some rubbed off on you. Here are many reasons the small but tasteful gallery makes a trip down excellent. If you wait for dinner downstairs at @vera_restaurant_mh if vegetarian I highly recommend eggplant sandwich. Procedure to sustain 101. 1) podcast on, drive or if that’s not an option - 2) 280-85-101 you get a free lesson on bay area’s microclimates from fog to dessert in under 60 miles.

@clarkmitchellpainter is a pastel artist inspired by the natural landscapes he grew up around near the Rockies. After studying art in Colorado and San Francisco, he developed a versatile style ranging from detailed realism to loose abstraction. He later moved to Sonoma County, where nature continues to inspire his work. A highly awarded artist, Clark is a Master Pastelist whose work is featured in collections and major art publications, with numerous honors from prestigious plein air competitions.

We are thrilled to welcome Clark back for our 5th Annual Morgan Hill Plein Air Paint Out! Check out his works from last year’s event, and see his finished work from this year’s event during our reception and awards ceremony on Sunday, May 3rd from 3-6PM. RSVP now through the link in our bio! 🌹⛲️🖼️

Magic happens with art. ✨
We love witnessing those moments when someone truly connects with a painting or sculpture, it feels almost mystical. The connection can come from memory, emotion, or something deeper within…and when it happens, you can feel it!

We experienced that magic firsthand with one of Clark Mitchell’s leadscapes, Stow Lake. Now off to its happy home.

Stop by to take in the final days of Clark’s showcase, ECHOES OF SUNLIGHT, featuring breathtaking, immersive landscapes that invite you in and stay with you.
