Finest steel must go through the hottest fire, said by #hrithikroshan

It started in Delhi with repercussions of the lockdown during the second wave of Covid -19 that I had to deal with on my own. After a catastrophic end of the wave, a lot of people lost their lives and some lost their jobs but I almost lost my mind. The economy was down and I was stuck behind the walls and I was watching my morale break apart affecting my fitness routine and my productivity. My instinct of self-awareness alerted me psychologically that something was wrong. I was gaining weight and loosing self-confidence. This was a shock to me considering my history of being hyper active and run&gun kind of lifestyle. I started to figure out what could I do to fix this and my first instinct was to take a vacation but I realised I couldn't be stupider, I have a theory that states if you look good, you feel good and I hated myself at that point of time. I could see the fatigue from inactivity on my face. While the lockdown jeopardized my fitness and left me mentally and physically stressed out, I decided that I didn't need a break, I needed to train my body. I called up my old friend and trainer Sourish Dam Roy in Mumbai, who actually shot this video, I asked him if I could come and stay with him for sometime and if he could train me for a while and his response was yes but he had to leave for a trail running race in Manali so he was there for about 10 to 12 days in Mumbai. I said its enough to push me out of this. I went to Mumbai and trained with him day and night for about 12 days, and it rebooted my mind and I felt like a new person. I went on cycling and started to explore different places again and I did a lot of photography, I lost a couple of kilos which lead me to a proactive life-style and ultimately reignited my creativity and productivity.

This video was shot during my last day in Mumbai on the roof of Sourish's apartment at sunset. I was reliving the moments that I had in Mumbai and thinking about the shit that I had come out of and I felt a sense of freedom. #zindagi

So are you the person who can solve his own problem ?

I wanted to bag one new thing in 2022 that’s totally out of my zone. I never thought it would be running, cause I never liked running much. Till last year I was not running even a mile but I have had experienced people around me getting into it, training hard for it and how running has helped them bring immense changes in their lives. So in having guys like @clashk @vicky.shah44 running in super difficult natural conditions in the mountains I was also motivated to try it for myself.
That’s somehow I got this idea😅and started training towards it. I was contemplating running 10km for this event with my friends as a first time experience, but I registered for 30kms. 😂🦍 I had around a week to prep for it and I started. I ran 5km on road twice and then did one 12km with @harshsparkmotion all in a week(it also being the first week of my running). I was already overwhelmed by then but I also had the thing in mind that I gotta go for a 30km run just on the weekend. With all the sourcing of gears (@rainijunaid_rj 💕) for my first run in such a small time, it was time for the final day. I am so happy to have the fun experience of trail running at @jumpinggorillatrailrun in Pune. I finished 21km and bagged many good experiences, friends, and above all lessons for life that came after self talking and running alone on the mountains.
Special thanks for the push through the trail: @fitphysiosai @him_anshuuu @raj_ramann @doggo I met and @many other faces.
That lesson: “ Your Only limit is your mind.”

The Wind of Joy | #versovabeach
ft@clashk

After an awful affair with life after second wave of covid-19 in Delhi , I took a break and visited my friend @clashk in mumbai. There is a refreshing change of pace while I spend my time working out, roaming around and creating stories again.
@clashk being a Yes Man does everything and anything involving outdoors, and here we are taking a stroll at versova beach where the ocean and the sky makes our day happy, and the wind bring a smile to our faces.

It was a productive Monday. ⏰✌🏻😇🍃
Having to love my work makes it easy to go ahead working extra hours in a day. Creating something special keeps me motivated throughout and helps me make amazing big-small memories along the way. I am so excited to finish all those tasks on my to-dos this week and let’s see what else I end adding up to it. See me on my journey of abundance with creativity ✌🏻💕😇

Just an evening chill in a good company in a good place

The lake sings low, a healing tone,
Therapeutic whispers, soft as stone.
Time drifts slowly, hearts at ease,
Held by mountains, kissed by peace.
