february. my taza and yours are more than half filled. we must define ourselves for ourselves (audre’s quote is ever present). I entered the polling place with Rev Jesse Jackson on my mind. celebrated in the creative offerings so many produced this month. tried and retried some new stuff. expanded my Black history learnings and business support in this 100th year. spent time one-on-one with friends. my aquarius season was full. the sun is shining and I remain hopeful. ASHE.

b. humanities creation narratives. reading the chronicles of ori has added layers to my love of this new addition to my collection and appreciation of its artist/author (harmonia rosales)
c. finally. my algorithm had been denying me the joy of this culinary memory. chef’s kiss. plus I got to support a new artist residency.
d. as the city prepares for the world baseball classic, freedmen’s town lifts up the local stories and national impact in blackball.

Wishing The Jordans a joyful 6-month anniversary ✨

It was a privilege to witness your union and the deep love that surrounded you on your wedding day. There’s something so special about a couple who knows how to celebrate with intention, presence, and joy.

Danielle, I absolutely loved your fun and light spirit—it was such a joy to see you fully present and smiling all day. It truly made my heart smile to watch you both be doted on by your guests, celebrated with so much warmth and love.

May your days ahead be filled with the same connection, ease, and beauty that defined the start of your forever.
