Albarrán Bourdais is pleased to present “What does it mean to live a Finite, Fragile Life in an Infinite Eternal Universe”, Claudia Comte’s (@claudiacomte) second solo exhibition with the gallery.

Opening on Saturday, October 31 at 11am in Madrid, the exhibition presents new Carrara marble sculptures within a landscape that unfolds throughout the gallery.

A flower blooms for a moment. Marble remembers millions of years. Between these two scales, Comte explores life, beauty and transience.

La exposición, que abrirá al público el sábado 31 de octubre a las 11 h en Madrid, presenta nuevas esculturas en mármol de Carrara dentro de un paisaje que se despliega por los distintos espacios de la galería.

Una flor florece por un instante. El mármol guarda la memoria de millones de años. Entre estas dos escalas temporales, Comte explora la vida, la belleza y lo efímero.

What fascinates me about collectors is not only what they own, but how they live with it 🧡

At home with @nachopolo and @onuska architecture, furniture and art speak one single language.

This is how I see a collection: not a set of objects, but a way of inhabiting a place. From private residences to hospitality spaces, this vision now shapes a growing part of my work.
