Come and visit me @fashionpositions @positions.artfair @berlinartweek with @mentalhealthinfashion These were intense weeks, I couldn’t invite you all personally, but I’ll be happy to see you at the fair today or tomorrow đŸ€ these are the last days :) just give me a call as soon as you’re here, unfortunately I can’t respond to all messages currently. ONE PERSON. ONE VOICE. A Photographic Series Amplifying Voices on Mental Health in Fashion An industry that shows everything – and stays silent on what matters most. »One person. One voice.« breaks that silence. By Claudia Malecka and Florian Müller. When an industry stays silent, it takes people who create space for voices to be heard again. During Berlin Fashion Week 2025, 35 portraits of people from fashion and beyond were created – each person portrayed shares a personal statement on Mental Health in Fashion. The series sits between studio photography and documentation – a mirror of the industry it portrays. The street becomes a studio, the everyday a stage: a white, suspended surface blends out everything superfluous and gives the people and their words radical presence. People from design, media, craftsmanship, education and activism speak about performance pressure, vulnerability, empathy and mental strength. »Florian Müller and Claudia Malecka are ready to shake the fashion system« – NSS Magazine · Featured on Artribune Television with the project’s Italian premiere. 📍 POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair · FASHION POSITIONS – Tempelhof Hangar 5, Stand S04 đŸ—“ïž September 10–13, 2026 Creative Direction, Photography & Set Design Claudia Malecka @claudiamalecka Content Direction, Interviews & Curation Florian Müller @mentalhealthinfashion Photo Assistant @berkesenb Set Design Assistants @saxbird @dydydi Thanks to @aaronkatar, Jens Hock, @tunaatuzun, @mlk0er, @neiko.k.films, @lisadeurer, @lana74, @senwienbe, @projektzukunft.berlin Music & Sound Design @melbeatz · Voiceover Diane Pernet Deeply grateful to this whole team – this project wouldn’t exist without you. MENTAL HEALTH IN FASHION One person. One voice. – A Photographic Series Amplifying Voices on Mental Health in Fashion As part of Berlin Fashion Week, a photographic series was created that sheds light on mental health in the context of fashion – featuring people from across & beyond the industry. 35 portraits. 35 voices. Beginning with Mental Health Awareness Month, we will present one contribution each day – creating space & visibility for a topic that is still too often left unspoken. Each person shares a statement – about what needs to be said, what is often overlooked, or what is missing. Together, these voices reflect the different perspectives and realities connected to the fashion system. Starting in Berlin, the series marks the beginning of an ongoing project that will continue to unfold in other cities. The project is part of the Mental Health in Fashion campaign. Initiated & curated by communications specialist Florian Müller, with a photographic series by artist Claudia Malecka. The portraits were captured in public space, in front of a floating white backdrop. The street became a studio, the everyday turned into a stage. Aesthetic meets honesty: positioned between fashion photography & documentary clarity – allowing the invisible to become visible. Content Direction, Interviews & Curation – Florian Müller @mentalhealthinfashion Creative Direction, Photography & Set Design – Claudia Malecka @claudiamalecka Contact via DM or email (link in bio) The first Berlin Fashion Week edition of this photo project, part of the “Mental Health in Fashion” campaign, was supported by by Projekt Zukunft – an initiative by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy & Public Enterprises of the State of Berlin, funded by the State of Berlin & the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). #MentalHealthInFashion #OnePersonOneVoice #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BerlinFashionWeek

Seeing our One person. One voice. project featured in such a relevant Italian art publication as Artribune really matters to us, especially because of how the article approaches the project with attention, nuance & respect for the people behind it. We are grateful to journalists like Margherita Cuccia who are interested in this topic & are bringing it to the public’s attention! This work is part of Mental Health in Fashion, but it was never only about the fashion industry itself. It looks at the entire system & the many perspectives connected to it & also at how these experiences reach far beyond it, where similar realities are still not being seen or heard enough. One person. One voice. is another attempt to find ways to place this topic more openly, to create a safe space, to give visibility, to open up exchange & to reflect on structures, what needs to change, what needs to be added & what should be protected & kept. 35 voices, different backgrounds, individual perspectives, existing next to each other without being reduced to one narrative. We are very grateful that right at the moment of releasing the new art project, it was given this kind of visibility & a respectful, safe space through the article. #MentalHealthInFashion #OnePersonOneVoice #Artribune #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth
