There’s something about winter that makes the richness and contrast of deep colours even more irresistible.

The most-asked questions about my home 🏠 >>>

It was SUCH a difficult process and took a whole year. Buying by yourself is a struggle… made worse by the worst solicitors in history. But I did it!!

After living in just one room (flat shares) for my entire twenties, this felt huge. I’ve soon adapted and now I dream of a bigger home 😅

The sideboard is vintage and cost £60

I adore this cover

Rubber over tiles any day

It’s no longer this colour as I got bored of it. But I know you guys love it. I’ll definitely use this colour again

I loooove Habitat. They do this in lilac too

It’s the Soderhamn model. It’s extra deep and you can change the covers and legs easily

These are handmade to order. My pride and joy

I love this gingham formation. It took me ages to work out the numbers. But basically the ratio is just 2:1:1. So order 50% one colour (in my case blue) and 25% each of the other 2 colours (green & stone). .

Back on @rightmoveuk reimagining floor plans! 🏡 For this property, I’ve reconfigured the layout to improve the flow, squeezing in a downstairs WC and a utility room—all within the existing footprint. Swipe for the concept! A WC should be worth talking about. That’s our non-negotiable.

Sculptural, rich plum tiles, a pedestal basin and a ceiling mounted tap all come together in this one-of-a-kind design.

There should always be opportunities in a scheme to be playful & it’s the fun, unexpected details that can make a home feel the most personal.

With half term just about to begin, Freya’s room is looking surprisingly tidy for it. It’s been nearly a year since I sanded these floor boards and we installed the beautiful wallpaper from @commonroom.co on the newly opened up chimney breast creating a striking feature that will stand the test of time and hopefully still be liked in the teenage years. For now we’re holding onto as many cuddly toys as possible!

It’s a balance of character, practicality, plenty of storage and longevity that I love bringing to the children’s bedroom that I work on. Just the curtains to go now.

Do you decorate for now or for the years ahead?

I am always delighted to see our work recognised and featured by industry bodies. This recently renovated powder room in Shenfield, Essex, has been featured in the Claybrook Studio website @claybrookstudio

So very grateful that one of my little transformations projects is being shown to a large audience, thank you Claybrook.
