POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In honor of the suckiest Primus fan of all time, we dedicate this post to Sue of Syracuse, seen in slide 2 🇺🇸

Winterland made a bunch of stuff for Primus back in the 90s and early 00s, and it’s some of our favorite merch we’ve created.

Here’s some of our faves!

Ok someone asked for this a week or so ago so i gave it a go. This was tough to play along with because theres so much space and weird textural stuff in between phrases. Got the funky diva sound going with a 70s mutron, a sansamp paradriver, a POG2, and a pinch of delay from the eventide timefactor. This is only the 3rd song ive learned off antipop so i probably need to get on it and learn some others!

First cover off of the Animals EP - been meaning to do this for awhile but could never get my delay set right until now! Love this song, its 100% going into the set in 2027 because we need more songs with this bass lol. Another deep cut for my fellow bass nerds out there!

Attn: guitarists - we do not need you lol. This has always been my favorite solo off MoP, its short and weird and not like kirks usual stuff. I figured i've got a whammy bar and an octave pedal, lets learn this and see how it goes. Definitely a fun one, gotta figure out a way to bust this out at a show somewhere haha!

The DEEPEST of cuts - been jamming on the 6 fretted lately and punchbowl has a bunch of tracks with it so decided it was time to learn this one. Maybe we'll do this one live one day as a snippet with hamburger train, but this one is tiring as hell bouncing thumbs every which way lol.

DONT FORGET! @salisburyvenue this thursday - 8pm - 90 minutes of just prime moose - free show so no excuses - and its early for all the old folks so you'll be in bed before 10 (id love to be in bed by 1015 if possible!).

More Brown album jamz! We'll be adding this song at some point, super fun to play and we only do one Brown album song. Glad i got this beardly fixed so i can play more of these types of strummy songs.

Show posts later today - two coming up on 8/27 at The Salisbury Center and 9/5 at @thecanalclub in Richmond with @evil_empire_tribute_to_ratm - check instagram and facebook for details, and hope to see everyone out!

SGT BAKER IS MAH NAME! Rarely do i get to a song with the upright and the electric but here we are. Need to add this one to the set before the year is thru.

We've got two shows coming up - 8/27 at @salisburyvenue (just us doing a 90 minute set so bring your gym shorts and water - free show as well!) and 9/5 at @thecanalclub with our buddies in @evil_empire_tribute_to_ratm - these guys are amazing, we did our first show two years ago with them and its been way too long since we've linked up again. Looking forward to seeing all our VA buddies at both of these ones!

Revisiting the shots I took of Primus in 2017.

I love Les Claypool’s commanding presence in this one as he works his bass.
