A fantastic afternoon at #mcmcomicconlondon performing #writingfighting live with a great (and fairly large) audience. I got to work with the brilliant judoka and excellent swordperson @slashnburnett and the amazing #fantasy writer and equally excellent swordperson @clclarkwrites as we taught the room some basic concepts in writing a better fight scene. Now back to #Toronto as the #soulstealer tour is over!

i just LOVE a floppy book!! and i live in a city where i’m constantly lugging a bag around but i want a physical book which means i want that paperback!!

listen i have nothing against a shelf trophy, but i LOVE seeing a well loved book on my shelf. it speaks of my love for the book and also how much i’ve passed it around

i just think a single POV romance really builds the tension! and in a talented writers capable hands you don’t need the other POV to understand how everyone is feeling!!
