I’ve always felt God nudging me to help women live more fully...stronger in their health, grounded in their faith, and clearer in their purpose.

So I’m really excited to share that a new podcast is coming January 6. It’s called Overflow, and I’ll be hosting it with two friends who also spend their days helping women understand their bodies, minerals, stress, and overall wellness. We have so many real, honest conversations behind the scenes, and now we get to bring them to you.

We’ll be talking about health, hormones, motherhood, faith, business, filling our cups… all of it.

Attended a wellness workshop last evening with gals looking to support their health & homes naturally. It’s a great community of ladies that I’ve been a part of for nearly 11 years. The invite’s always open for you to join.

Q: How do you know when it’s the right time to adopt a puppy?
A: When your puppy chooses you.

“Hi, I’m Pink Girl, but sometimes they call me Pinkie. My mom says I’m just sweetness in a fluffy coat.”

There’s always one. One who’s just a little different. Maybe the runt, maybe the naughty one, maybe the quiet one. The Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web, the Lucky from Dalmatians, the Ugly Duckling (or dachshund!). They are the special one.

This is Royal Blue. He is smaller than his brothers. He’s also the only one in the litter with a white star on his forehead…like he needed a little mark to say “Hey, I’m the Special one!”

And he’s just a little extra. Extra sparkle in his eye. Extra snuggles needed. Extra curious. Extra observant. Extra smart.

I’m excited to see who adopts him. Somehow I feel like it will be a family with a child in need of a buddy for all the summer adventures. Or maybe the owner themselves needs a special buddy or will teach him to be a trick dog.

Whoever it is, they’ll be getting one who is just extra special. ❤️

He’s not my favorite. Lady (his mom) is my favorite! She’s now 3.5 years old and has brought our family so much joy!! Her puppies (last year’s litter) have all turned out to be gorgeous dogs in their forever homes, and we are so happy to offer this new litter (full siblings) for adoption this year. They are from fully genetic and health tested parents. We raise them by hand in our own home to be excellent in every way. Our adoption fee is $1800. We have both males and females in multiple shades of golden available. Please message to set up a viewing appointment.

Can we talk about teens and puppies?

As a mom, something melted in me when I saw my teens (esp the boys) hold a sweet fluffy puppy. The tenderness, the care. The reverence for something young and helpless. The wonder in their eyes and sweetness in their voice when they spoke to her.

For years I had put off getting our dream dog (a AKC Golden Retriever, of course!). Dogs take work, and I wasn’t quite ready to take that on in the bustle of family life. Until I was. And then I watched how this little bundle of fur and puppy breath called each of us to be more present, more joyful, more united.

There’s something really sweet about watching the love between a boy and his dog. Or a girl and her dog. And honestly, I think it’s good practice for my teens…who too rarely say “I love you” now that they are grown past childhood…to have those words on their lips.

Love is transformative. Is puppy love perhaps just the thing your kids need right now? ❤️
