Excited to be packing up @tonyathetacoma with @rachelboate and @cleekonfleek and hitting the open road again this summer. This trips theme will be land art! Who’s got some favorite land art recs? This is a photo I took in 2016 after sleeping right off the road of Monument Valley (after cheeping out and refusing to pay the entrance fee) and waking up to this frozen beauty. This time around I think I’ll pay the fee. While not land art it’s certainly beautiful.

Old struts getting worn out and the top is heavy with solar. Upgraded to #250 lb struts for 500# of lifting power. These @vagabond_outdoors drifters are so serviceable I can now understand how simple each part could be to replace if needed.

This is @theoinmaine whom I met almost 11 years ago when I answered an ad on a border terrier rescue group. He brought @cleekonfleek into my life a few days later! We recently brought Clio to go see her aging mama (you can see @rachelboate petting 16 year old ruby in the background). Theo shared some excellent meals including a venison blackstrap, a duck and some foraged wine cap mushrooms. We shared some of our ramp pesto and our ramp pickles went so well with the duck breast salad! His wife made one of the best cakes I’ve had in my life (rhubarb!). This won’t be the last time we head up country.
