Last month, I took a vulnerable leap of faith and dared to share my true story with the world. This moment represents countless hours of unseen hard work, time, and sacrifices. The journey behind the scenes was filled with moments of doubt, perseverance, and deep reflection.

Today, I'm humbled and proud to announce that my TEDx talk is finally live!

I wanted all of you to be among the first to experience it. Share it. Reflect on it. Find more of yourself in it. Who would have known I'd uncover my deepest truths in my darkest times?

I hope this talk gives you the inspiration and permission to do the same. Every one of our stories is worth sharing. We all have the strength within us to rise, to find our STRONG!

What happens when you blend the wisdom of a TEDx speaker with the heart of a dedicated father? Find out as we chat with Michael B. Clegg, the dynamic CEO of Q Works Group and Leadership Squared, who also spends his Fridays under the lights as a high school football coach. As former colleagues at Kforce, it was so nice to reconnect with a former colleague to have a powerful conversation on fatherhood, growth, and mindset.

Michael shares touching stories of a recent football recruiting trip with his middle child and an exciting upcoming mastermind group adventure in Austin with his 21-year-old. Plus, hear how he balances his professional life while celebrating 23 years of marriage and his daughter’s incredible work ethic.

In this heartfelt episode, Michael opens up about the family dynamics that shape his life. Michael’s journey to personal growth and professional success hasn’t been without its challenges. From a memorable, violent incident that forced him to leave home to the transformative experience of preparing for a TEDx Talk, Michael’s story is one of resilience and perseverance. He shares the emotional aftermath of past traumas, the solace found in sports, and the incredible support system that helped him navigate life’s hurdles.

This episode wraps up with a discussion on gratitude, future aspirations, and the importance of slowing down to appreciate life’s journey. It is a compelling narrative of growth, family, and the power of being present.

TEDx Update -- We're so close!

I learned today that it's likely going to be a few more weeks to a month or so before my TEDx will be live to the world. I am so excited to share it with everyone -- even if one person just smiles or gets a giggle... Totally worth it!

One of the organizers of the conference made this amazing cinematic movie trailer!

It is such a great teaser for when the video comes out. I'm going to have a watch party and then have an open-ended Zoom call where any of you can literally ask me anything!

No topics off-limit and let's have some fun with this.

I will be hosting a watch party with my fellow TEDx Speaker Michael Clegg who's video will also be coming out and we will have some great fun with it! Look out for an email from me if you know me in the coming weeks!

For those of you unfamiliar, many of us working in the speaking world... The views, comments, shares, etc... They make all the difference in the world.

So, we all appreciate, in advance, our beautiful networks who will help share our messages far and wide.

This year our theme for our conference at UNC Pembroke was "The Next Chapter in Life."

We all go through so many trials and tribulations through our life and I fully believe that adversity is ALL of our superpowers when we band together and support one another!

My consistent theme throughout life is:

KEEP MOVING FORWARD

(I just choose to do it with a ton of humor in life, great human being surrounded around me, and taking those challenging situations I go through to help others so they don't have to go through them alone)
