POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Extreme heat waves, flash flooding, the Super El Niño- we feel it here and around the globe. The Climate Crisis is here, lives are at stake, and it is because our US and world leaders choose profit over people and planet again and again and again.

Yet still we fight. Because we know a better future is possible. Because we see glimpses of it in our communities and our pasts. Because our hopelessness turns into hope when we act, not in isolation, but as a collective, a force.

So join us. Fight with us. Hope with us. Strike from school/work/your regular schedule with us.

Make it clear - we are not losing our people or this planet without a fight.

This strike is for everyone from every background, from any neighborhood, of any age. We need you and your people there.

Link to collab/co-sponsor coming soon. Link to Zoom training in how to lead a strike at your school coming soon.

We’ll see you there.

Are you ready for the Super El Niño?!

The governor of California has declared a state of emergency due to the coming Super El Niño. We know this will be a major event, we're expecting flooding, sea level rise, coastal erosion, mudslides and more. We're hosting a community preparedness & responce meeting, bring your family, friends, neighbors, EVERYONE! to join us in a workshop around climate resilience and emergency preparation. Learn how to keep yourself and each other safe, understand the expected conditions, and prepare for what's ahead.

We're also doing a cold weather drive: we're collecting clean & lightly used or new tents, blankets, warm coats, as well as clean/new socks, hats, gloves, and hand warmers to support our unhoused neighbors and families in need. Bring your donations to the meeting or drop them off at the meeting.

RSVP so we can prepare to host you!

Let's get ready together. Share this with your people & bring a friend!

At West Los Angeles College with NPCA for the 2026 Raises y Futuro Latino Conservation Week event today! What a blessing it is to hang out with all my friends from the Conservation Studies Course Nature Nexus Institute post-graduation.

Somehow everyone loved all our free stickers, pins, brochures, and magazines - we ran out of them all!

Got to visit our micro forest where I helped plant sagebrush and milkweed for monarchs and learn some samba, too hehehe~🥰💖🌿

Support the journey via #venmo (@twiichii) or PayPal at twiichii@gmail.com or come #hike with me!
