Round up your favorite kiddos and head down to SPARK on Monument Circle for Kids Day on Sunday, September 20th, from 1-4 p.m.!

Visitors will make friendship bracelets, create beach ball-sized bubbles, choreograph a musical collage, and get their faces painted!

Have your kids touched a trombone? The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will also host its instrument petting zoo.

We hope to see you out at SPARK for this FREE and kid-centered event!

SPARK on the Circle is presented by Big Car Collaborative (@bigcarpix), Downtown Indy Alliance (@downtownindy), and the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development (@indy_dmd), in coordination with the Indiana War Memorials Commission (@indianawarmemorials)

Clockwork Janz's Creative Renewal Journey

Along with their family, Clockwork Janz travelled to Sicily to visit the cities of Palermo, Cefalu, Messina, and Raffo. This adventure was their first time out of the country and in an environment where their native language, English, wasn’t the primary language of the locals. And Clockwork was eager to share all of this with their daughter in hopes that she might start her life with a stronger sense of her family’s lineage than they did.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

In 1999, the Indy Arts Council, with generous support from Lilly Endowment Inc., established the Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship program. It was an innovative step to try to retain the city’s artistic talent, designed to nurture their creative exploration and rekindle their spirits.

That was all the description I needed know that I would love this person. This week I sat down to talk to Clockwork about @franknsteam their food/music invention, slowing down, and spending time with friends at restaurants with intention and more beyond!

Had a great time chatting with Clockwork, I hope you enjoy!
