My tissue culture cabinet in June vs October⏭️ I might have went a little overboard but it’s been so satisfying watching plants grow from baby plantlets to pups to full grown mama plants! I have successfully grown Alocasias, Monstera, Philodendron, syngonium, and Anthurium! Which is pretty impressive granted I just started this hobby over the summer. 🤗 However, I did not have luck with begonias😅 But nonetheless, it’s been an amazing experience and I can’t wait to further my collection this way! Most of my TC collection came from leafyexotics and @cloud_forest_collective on @palmstreetapp ! Check them out!! 🔥🌱✨ I actually just won a pink cuprea over the weekend so be on the lookout for that beautiful plant in the near future! 🤩

Proof that patience pays off 🌿🩷 Picked up this Alocasia Black Velvet Pink Variegated about 4 months ago online. It arrived with barely any visible variegation. Fast forward through some TLC in the cabinet, and it just unfurled its very first new leaf under my care today with this unreal pink and cream marbled contrast! Huge shoutout to @cloud_forest_collective for sending over a specimen with such strong underlying genetics! #AlocasiaBlackVelvetPink #VariegatedAlocasia #RareAroids #PlantMail #BotanicalPapi

PlantCon Seattle! Thank you! I was so excited to find out they were coming to the PNW so I dragged my kid along (not pictured because “mom no pics”) to hoard plants and stalk all my fave creators 😂 • Thank you to everyone that stopped to talk and take pics with me, y’all are the best! • The haul was not big this time, self control and the budget police was policing 😩 🌱🪴💚 #PlantCon #Seattle #PlantConSeattle #plantcollector #houseplants
