Lovely lunchtime pod class done and I’m not ready to deflate this purple paradise yet. 💜….when everything is everchanging consistency is key. @cloudstaryoga I threw you a pancake back…not as flat as your tho I’m afraid…slightly more rigid & bumpy 😂. #carucrempog💜💙💚❤️💛

PENBLWYDD HAPUS HOTPOD CAERDYDD! 💜🎂 8 years ago I stepped into the pod with Aaron for my first ever yoga class. It changed my life. This purple bubbly sweaty igloo is my place of joy, my place of grief…..my place of patience, self awareness and peace…my PLACE. I LOVE POD and all it has taught me. And I’m overjoyed to now be a part of the wonderful teaching team. Thankyou Aaron. Diolch Aaron….for allowing me to continue my love of movement and Thankyou @hotpodyoga_cardiff and team Cousins for your constant presence and support. 💜💜💜

From day 3 of the FREE “be cool for yule” series- with 6 themed practices including movement and rest. 😌 (sign up is above)
.
As a single mum to neuro-very-interesting teen, studio owner and yoga teacher I know all about sneaking in my practice. AND finding ways to appreciate life in moments of calm- against the odds!
.
Join me for this free gift- a new series “Be cool for Yule”- 6 themed practice of 15 min or less to keep us steady during this period.
.
If you’d like to win PRIZES be sure to post clips of practice and add #coolforyule for the prize draw including a free 3 months in the Yoga Hub- the place to be if you love yoga for deep ease as well as mobility; breath work & meditation as well as movement. Love to see you there! 🎄
.
Movement tips: This version of dead bug fires up the adductors- press the block to the leg & leg into the block to fire up the inner thigh & make this extra spicy.
.
This generates more co-contraction along the inner thigh and into the pelvic floor; as well as that great work going on here to fire up & stabilise the abs.
.
Due to shared fascial connections and synergies between the muscle groups, of the pelvic floor and adductors- this is another great one for pelvic floor health.
.
Variation in the frame shows a “shorter lever” ie by keeping leg shorter there is less demand on the body, so you can gradually build up from here. 🔥
