@p3t3rango - “I’ve spent most of my life on the artist side of these systems, watching new technologies arrive with big promises about what they would do for us.

I want to be involved earlier than that. Not after a product has been built x when artist are brought in to validate it. But while we’re still deciding what should be built at all.

That’s ultimately why I’m here.”

Finally home in ATX after a dope first @fwbfest.info in the books!

Working w/ @musicnerdxyz and @cxy + @clt , I was able to meet a lot of new friends and share my new visual project Dream Sequence, with the world. (Check out my next twitch stream to see it in action)

Being around so many like minded creatives who understand that the future of music and culture is built through technology, not in opposition to it, is so refreshing.

I’m energized. I’m PUMPED UP!! Expect to see a lot more of me. 😈

Just landed back from an unreal weekend hosted by @musicnerdxyz at @fwb.help . I got to stay in amazing compound with an inspiring group of artists, it wasn’t a writing camp or show it was a creative residency and an opportunity to learn from each other and connect. So many of us have been friends and creatively sparring online for years so to finally meet in person was so cool (although it didn’t feel like the first time!). We are all so different, but all have music at the core of what we do… it really is my happy place being in this kind of environment.

The day time at fest @musicnerdxyz hosted a Sanctuary for Technological Creatives where we could share work with each other but also invite others in to see what everyone is working on.

We as artists need more of this, we had time to share work, our stories, the why behind what we do and how we got here. and maybe most importantly just hand out in down time, over break fast or late at night and most days for me before the sun came up too :). It really was the perfect example of Scenius.

Thanks to @cxy and @clt for bringing us all together in a totally unique way that non of us have ever had the chance to experience before. @roundpotatocat for all her hard work on the event and making sure everything flowed and went to plan ❤️

C.Y. Lee (@cxy) and Carl Tydingco (@clt ) are creative technologists working toward a world where fans can support independent artists more directly. They are working with 30 artists to will those ecosystems into existence, drawing on firsthand experience of the record-store, file-sharing, streaming, and NFT eras.

Their all-day “Sanctuary for Technological Creatives” is an open studio for artists working with software and hardware to share unfinished work, compare notes, and meet future collaborators. Artists including Sound of Fractures (Alone Together), Tom Vek (Sleevenote), Pete Rango (Music Nerd), Latashá (TOPIA), Songadaymann (We All Make a Platformer), Vivid Fever Dreams (Dream Sequence), Xcelencia (El Nino Maravilla), TK (Darkside), Black Dave, and Mary Maguire will show what they are making, and visitors are invited to bring work of their own.

This year was growth. Rocky unsteady bottoms and pure chaos turned towards clear blue skies and alignment through tons of effort and energy. It’s wild that the entire universe happens through our perception. If we change our internal world, the outside reflects it. Here’s to continuing to learn how to relate to myself in 2026. Feeling eternally grateful for the people I get to co create all of this with! 🌋

This past week, we brought together a group of humans in service of building new structures to fund music experiments with artists; it was one of the most magical rooms I’ve ever been in.

@cxy and @clt thank you for searching for the little light in the middle of the darkness, for your mentorship and belief.

@supermodi thank you for your thoughtful and personal curation including @odunsitheengine - it added so much to the evening.

@sirswego thank you and @ileishome for the amazing storytelling and delicious meal!

No doubt the seeds planted that night can make a forest. Good things happen when you put yourself in the right room ✨
